Take a lesson from foul mouthed, abusive,”makeover” chef, Gordon Ramsay, the brute of “Kitchen Nightmares.”
When Gordon goes into a money losing, dysfunctional restaurant, what does he actually do to turn it around?
- Cleans up and tosses the trash.
- Finds out what the community wants and needs
- Stops money leaks
- Directly addresses people problems quickly
- Simplifies and raises the quality
- Does a visual makeover
- Involves the community
- Publicizes
- Launches
- Delivers on the promise.
Do things go perfectly?
No.
Does it change lives?
Yes.
Times change and they aren’t always what we expect.
When they do, we need to change with them.
What stops us?
Fear.
But if we let fear paralyze us, we will die before we even have a chance to live and grow. 2015 was a very “interesting” year.
It started off dead slow. Scary slow.
Nothing that worked before was working today.
People weren’t listening, people weren’t acting and people weren’t getting results.
Why?
Because they were afraid.
The economy was uncertain, the future was uncertain and they weren’t going to move until they were on solid ground.
Well, let’s get over it!
Things have changed and yes, we need to change.
What worked yesterday MIGHT not work today.
But SOMETHING is ALWAYS working.
It’s time for your own personal INDEPENDENCE DAY!
Today is as good a time as any to change your life and your business and that’s exactly what I’m doing with mine.
Let’s start with the clean-up!
Too many programs and too little focus so I’m tossing out everything that’s old, rotten and past its prime.
